An ode to Lady Luck
Lady Luck was a beautiful Blue Point and Lynx mix. At 15 years of
age she unfortunately had developed kidney problems as many older cats
do. Like Allie she needed daily subcutaneous fluids to keep her
hydrated. She passed away this past week.

I have to say that in the past I have given you a really tough time. I checked in once to see what was up, and the whole thing with the kitties made me soften my attitude. I too am a huge cat lover. I would have more than my two if I had a house. My cats are my kids. My one has taken to chewing my brand new comforter and opening every closet in the apartment every day. She can be annoying as shit, but I love that cat and would rush into a buring building to save her.
I am sorry about your Allie. Regards Re: Re: An ode to Lady Luck

That really means a lot to me, thanks. Ha! We had to rip up the carpet in one room. Ah well, I love my lil pisser.
My therapist still has the ashes from her one true love kitty BooBoo who died more than 20 years ago. She had recently moved and we were discussing the annoyance of it all and the possible items that may never see the light of day again. Then suddenly she looked worried and said, "I don't recall seeing BooBoo." Inna flash she is out of her chair but I stopped her and assured her that I saw BooBoo sitting on the chest in her bedroom. |
