I just knock everything off my bed or pile it ever higher on my chest of drawers.

This is why I constantly beg people to please not send me any gifts for my birthday or Christmas unless it can be eaten or it's bedding. See that corner of the Sponge Bob Squarepants gift bag in the first picture? That contains unused and yet to even be pulled out of the bag Christmas presents from last year.
