I didn't think they precisely measured the small bowel for your type of surgery. And 300 or so centimeters of small intestine is, ummm, really small. I mean, I have 600 cm of small intestine total, and have a 50cm common channel and a 250 cm aliementary limb and 300 cm billiary limb. Having that itty-bitty common channel means that I have among the smallest small intestines out there because my doc used the Hess method to do my DS. That pretend doc is a buttmunch who obviously hasn't read your surgical report or hasn't a damn clue what they actually did to you because they didn't measure you at all! Assholes all.
